IMPORTANT NOTICE
The Australian High Commission advises that due to
Australian financial legislation, it can only accept payment of the
Australian Government visa application charge/fee in the form of a bank
issued cheque. The bank issued cheque must be in South African Rand,
made payable to 'Australian High Commission'. Note that
the Australian High Commission cannot accept cheque in any currency
other than Rand, and it cannot accept
personal cheque

Payment Procedure :
- Australian Government
visa application fee to be paid by a bank issued cheque made payable
to 'Australian High Commission'
- The VFS administration
fee should be paid separately into the VFS bank account (payment
options detailed below)
- Please provide the
original bank issued cheque (for the visa application fee) and the
original proof of payment (for the VFS administration fee) to VFS at
time of application

Please Note :
Under no circumstances will the Australian High
Commission in Pretoria accept payment of the visa application fee by
personal cheque, business cheque, bank guaranteed personal cheque s or ATM
issued cheque. Credit Card facilities are also not available at this
stage. Please note that fees are not refundable regardless of the outcome
of your application.
These charges are for guidance only. Charges are
reviewed on 01 July every year. Charges may also change at other times.
Applications received after change in fees, attract the new charge (no
allowance is made for postage). Up-to-date information on vis a
application charges, including notice of impending changes to charges can
be obtained from:- www.immi.gov.au
All fees mentioned above are the applicable

The fees once paid are non-refundable.
In addition to the applicable visa fees, the following

Courier
Fees (Optional Service) :
Applicants can opt to forward their visa applications to the
Australia Visa Application Centre in Johannesburg via TNT's courier
service.
TNT has offered a very special rate of R 280 per shipment.
The rate will be applied to the 1st applicant. Applications of
up to 2 accompanying applicants can be included in the shipment for FREE!
In other words, a family of 3 can forward their applications to
us for just R 280, i.e. R 93.33 per head.
The charge of R 280 includes VAT at 14%, and insurance cover of
R 1,000 per shipment. Additional insurance cover can be provided by TNT
for a fee of R 14 per coverage slab of R 1,000

Courier Service :
The VFS administrative charge and courier fee are payable into
the VFS account through the following instruments:
1) Bank guaranty cheque - Favoring “VFS ( South
Africa )” credited into the designated VFS account in Standard Bank.
2) Internet transfer - Credited into the VFS
account in Standard Bank.
3) Cash Deposit in Bank - C redited into the
VFS account in the Standard Bank.

PAYING THE VFS ADMINISTRATION FEE:

PLEASE NOTE THAT VFS DOES NOT
ACCEPT ANY CASH PAYMENT AT ANY OF OUR VISA APPLICATION CENTRES UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES.
While making the
payment,Applicants need to enter their PASSPORT NUMBER/S as a Payment
Reference Number in the following fields depending on the MODE OF
PAYMENT.
Mode of Payment (Internet
Transfer): Passport Number to be entered in the Field ”Beneficiary
Reference” in the personal banking form.
Mode of Payment (Cash Deposit into Bank OR Bank Guarantee Cheque):
Passport Number to be ent ered in the Field “Depositor’s Name or
Reference” in the Deposit slip . A payment made with any reference
number other than the PASSPORT NUMBER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE ·
Please bring the ORIGINAL
copy of acknowledgement of the Deposit slip OR Internet transfe r at the
time of submission of application. Please note that PHOTO-COPIES of the
Deposit Slip WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED under any circumstances.
VFS will issue an
invoice-cum-receipt in the name of the applicant at the time of
submission of the application.
We recommend transfer of
funds using Bank guaranty cheque, since it is the safest and fastest mode
of transfer. Once the cheque has been banked, kindly bring the ORIGINAL
copy of acknowledgement of deposit of the Bank Guarantee Cheque into the
bank. Please n ote that PHOTO-COPIES of the Deposit Slip WILL NOT BE
ACCEPTED under any circumstances.
Internet banking is a cheap
and safe mode of transfer of funds. Please note that your application
would be accepted only after the credit of amount in the VFS account.
Should you choose to deposit
the amount through cash deposit in our account then please note that you
would also be required to pay the bank handling charges levied to VFS.
