TNT SPECIAL COURIER SERVICE

Applicants can opt to forward their visa applications to the Australia Visa Application Centre in Johannesburg via TNT's courier service (needs to be arranged by VFS only), instead of personally delivering it to our offices. For this service, TNT has offered a very special rate of R 280 per shipment.

The minimum rate specified above will be applied to the 1st applicant. Applications of up to 2 accompanying applicants can be included in the shipment for FREE!
In other words, a family of 3 can forward their applications to us for just R 280
The charge of R 280 includes VAT at 14%, and insurance cover of R 1,000 per shipment. Additional insurance cover can be provided by TNT for a fee of R 14 per coverage slab of R 1,000.

Note: This charge does NOT apply if documents are handed in personally at the Australian Visa Application Centres & if the applicant does not opt for a courier service.

Procedure for availing this Collection & Return delivery Courier service:

Applicant(s) need to contact the VFS Call Centre in South Africa on 083 9133636 who will explain the procedure in detail. For your benefit, the same procedure has also been outlined below in detail.

1) The Applicant(s) need to make a payment of 280.00 rands for the shipment (Collection & Delivery) into the VFS account. Please click here for Banking Details and Mode of Payment.

Note: Should the applicant only require a one way courier service - i.e. Send the applications via TNT, however collect them personally from the VFS office once finalized, OR Deliver the application personally to the VFS office but opt for the return delivery service via TNT, the Amount applicable would be R 140.00

2) Once the payment has been made, the applicant(s) needs to either scan & email the proof of payment to info.diacsa@vfshelpline.com or can alternatively fax it to 0865184613. The Name, Contact details & Physical Address of the applicant should also be mentioned along with the proof of payment while sending the email or fax. If you are sending it by email, please note that the subject of the email should be : TNT Collection – Proof of Payment

Note: This is very important as VFS will be able to arrange the collection only receipt of this email or fax.

3) On receipt of proof of payment via email or fax, VFS executive will call up the applicant(s) & inform them about the date & time of collection. TNT will collect and deliver only between 08:00 - 17:00 Hrs, Monday to Friday barring Public holidays, Please refer to the Public Holidays list.

4) VFS will intimate TNT accordingly & they will arrange to pickup the application from the applicant(s). Please ensure that the applicant(s) address their application(s) to our Johannesburg Application Centre. In return, the TNT personnel will issue a Waybill as an acknowledgement of receipt of your application. Applicants can track progress of their applications using this Way Bill Number (Enter only the 9 digit Numeric for tracking) and the Passport Number (Enter your complete Passport Number). Note:You will be able to track the progress only after the application is received by the Australia Visa Application Centre.

5) TNT will deliver the application to the Australia Visa Application Centre in Johannesburg.

6) Australia Visa Application Centre will accept the application & dispatch the same to the Australian High Commission, Pretoria for assessment after completing the administrative procedures.

7) Once the application has been assessed by the Australian High Commission, Pretoria, they will handover the application to TNT.

8) TNT would return the application(s) back to the address provided by the applicant.
